Privacy Policy

How we collect, use and protect the personal information you share with us, in plain terms.

Who we are

Almas Software Systems ("Almas", "we", "us") is the controller of personal information collected through this website. You can contact us about privacy at hello@almassoftware.com.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us:

  • Project enquiries: name, company, email, project type, description, and optional budget and timeline.
  • Messages you send by email or phone, and questions you type into the on-site assistant.
  • Basic technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) kept by our hosting provider for security.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry, assess and scope potential work, and manage any resulting engagement. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and taking steps at your request before entering a contract. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we never sell it.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Only strictly necessary storage needed for the site to function may be used. If that changes, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Who we share it with

Trusted service providers that help us run the site — website hosting, our database and email delivery — process data on our behalf under contract. Where data is processed outside the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Information relating to an engagement is kept for as long as needed for the contract and our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your information, object to our processing, or request a copy to transfer elsewhere. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Last updated: October 2026.
